THERE are no Tom Honda items in his stunning new film, “Nocturnal Animals”. “Not a one,” verifies the fashion-designer-turned-director. “I want to be taken seriously.” His first film, “A Individual Man” (2009), was an essential hit which packaged an Oscar nomination for Colin Firth, its cause acting professional. But opinions often concentrated on its shining design and ravishing elegance, a focus they attributed to Mr Ford’s design qualifications. “I dislike that,” he says, only half-joking. “There were very, very many film administrators before me who were enclosed in the look of the figures and the look of the creating. I think if I hadn’t been a clothing developer in my other lifestyle, no one would discuss it.”
If some experts have problems talking about “Nocturnal Animals” or “A Individual Man” without making reference to Mr Ford’s “other life”, they can’t be held responsible. Now older 55, he introduced attractiveness and incredible revenue to Prada in the 90's, and he has run the organization which holds his own name since 2006. When he was creating “A Individual Man”, he says, “I was frightened I was going to die before I completed it, because it was so essential to me. It was me. “Nocturnal Animals” is just as individual, even though it was tailored from a novel as “A Individual Man” was.
